Have to say this is an unexpected post on the blog but last night i get a text its my mate Phil " Armthorpe have lost 1 nil to Lincoln think if we win Saturday we are Champions"
This was great news and mathematically we would not be Champions Armthorpe are on 79 points from 36 games and can achieve 85 if they win their last two games one of them being against us. But we (Brid Town) are currently on 82 points from 33 games if we win on Saturday against Hall Road Rangers who are full of ex Town players we would be on 85 points the maximum that Armthorpe can get but our goal difference is 24 goals better than Armthorpe this is like an extra point. | P | W | D | L | F | A | PTS | +/- | |||

As Armthorpe would need to beat Thackley something like 15-0 and then beat us 10-0 for it to swing back in there favour and we would have to lose all of our remaining games, crikey i am confusing myself now, anyway things really looking good now in fact i can hear the Fat Lady tuning up her voice i we had better dig that ice bucket out and that classic tune from Queen yes you know the one.
