Day 2 of the 2010 World cup and England's first game against the American's, it was a game that to be honest i thought would be a draw and yes i predicted a 1-1 draw, it was all looking so promising when England Captain Steven Gerrard received the ball from Emile Heskey and knocked the ball past Tim Howard just after 4 minutes (i actually missed the goal because ITV HD decided to put an advert on just as we scored Unbelievable) , America who should not be underestimated are no mugs in fact most of their players play in top European leagues and they did create some good chances and probably deserved the draw but the way they got their goal was one of those crazy moments in football Fulham's Clint Dempsey hits a shot towards keeper Robert Green a shot
that he should have easily picked up but no he has a mare and the ball ends up in the back of the net (see footage below) I think every England supporter was stunned by this but not a stunned as Dempsey he was walking away thinking Green picked that up easy next thing he is celebrating the luckiest goal he will ever score.Oh well roll on Friday when we take on Algeria
